Challenge
Job seekers often lack access to personalized interview feedback and struggle to tailor their resumes to specific job descriptions. I needed a tool that could act as a strict technical interviewer, analyze PDF resumes contextually, and manage API costs effectively through a user credit system.
Solution
I built a web application using Flask and SQLite. The system parses uploaded resumes (PDF) using PyPDF and feeds the text into a fine-tuned OpenAI system prompt. I implemented a "License Key" system in the admin panel to grant user credits securely. The frontend uses Server-Sent Events (SSE) for a typewriter-style streaming response experience, and users can generate public links to share their interview sessions.
